Mandala yoga is a playful practice where you will be moving 360 degrees around the mat, softly flowing through strong poses and inversions to the rhythm of the breath.

The sequences are designed to target specific areas of the body corresponding to the element, and related chakra, of the day as per the Mayan calendar.

The class will begin and close and with yin postures to complement the subtle and physical body. The class provides a creative Vinyasa practice to satisfy and challenge the body and mind.

New to Yoga

Which classes can I attend if I am new to yoga?

We have foundations yoga. These classes move at a slower pace to help gain the solid foundations.

They are great for any beginner or seasoned yogi who just wants to get back to the basics.
Can i still practice with an injury?

Yes, you certainly can. You just need to listen to your body in a way that prevents any further injury. What we have come to learn over the years is that an injury can become a very good teacher, as it slows us down. We can thus appreciate all the modifications of the Vinyasa practice. Yoga can be seen as a healing practice. Make sure you speak to your doctor first and notify the teacher of your injury.
Should I start with a basics class?

All of our classes are for everyone. If you do want to start at a gentle pace then a foundations yoga class could be a great start for you.

Is it ok to come to class if i am pregnant?

We would always advise you to speak with your doctor before embarking on your practice with us. Heat is not recommended, especially if you are in your first trimester

Class cancellation

What happens if I cannot make a class?

You can cancel a class up to 90 minutes before the start time. You will not be charged. However, if you cancel a class less than 90 minutes before the start of the class, you will be charged. A LATE cancellation fee of £5 will be charged if you have an unlimited membership, or you will lose the credit for the class if you are not a unlimited membership

If you have booked a workshop, you will not be refunded, due to the limited spaces available

Studio Equipment

Do I need my own mat?

No, we have mats that are grippy and durable, however if you prefer to use your own, then you can
Does the studio have showers?

Yes but they will be closed for the foreseeable future until it is safe to open them once again.
Does the Studio have changing rooms?

Yes, and lockers which are free to use for you to safely lock your valuables in. However, the studio accepts no responsibility for lost items.

Studio Etiquette

Can I wear socks when practicing yoga?

Yoga really should be practiced barefoot, since it will help with grip on the mat. If you have socks with grips on the soles, this is up to you
What should I do with my mat once I have finished the class?

The mat should be wiped down with the sprays and the small cloths provided
