Join yoga souls Will and Sophie-Rae for a 5 night yoga reatreat exploring Yin & Yang within the aztec elements; water ,fire ,earth & air. We will activate and harmonise the elements that reside within all of us through practicing strong vinyasa of rocket and mandala, as well as deep restorative practices such as yin, meditation and pranayama.

The Yoga

There will be 2 practices every day of both yin and yang guiding us through the mayan calendar of the elements. We will do off the mat activities that will allow us to connect deeper to the nature and environment around us.

Our home

Set around 15 minutes drive from the sleepy seaside surf town of Taghazout, nestled in the Moroccon mountains this house is a piece of tranquility.

Our home for the retreat will be rooted in the elements itself, with breathtaking Moroccan landscapes, Saharan sunsets , mountain air and situated close to the seaside surf town of Taghazout. This will be the ideal space to connect to yourself, to nature and each other.

Just a short taxi ride and you are on the beach, surfing or just sunbathing.

The Food

We will be nourished throughout the day with vegan and vegetarian spreads as well as juices, smoothies, nuts, snacks and unlimited fresh fruit.

The naturally sourced local food will be Moroccan inspired throughout the day, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Dietary requirements can be catered for, please make us aware before departure.

Your Teachers

Sophie-Rae

Through strong physical asana and spiritual teachings, Sophie-Rae found that her yoga practice began to be a place of inner sanctuary; providing space to look within and observe what’s already there, enabling not only more space in both body and mind but also a place to move towards becoming a more conscious, calm and considered human being.

Sophie-Rae has studied with Jivamukti Yoga and The Yoga People and incorporates all of knowledge and wisdom that she has gained from her teachers within her classes.

 

William Mitchell

Will first found yoga 5 years ago. Having a love for all things health and fitness related, he was drawn to the physical benefits of the yoga asana. Will very quickly came to realise how many other aspects of his life yoga had a positive influence on. Practicing most of his yoga in the centre of Manchester with some of the best teachers in the city, he developed a love for the more dynamic and physically challenging practices.

 

Will teaches a focussed and traditional ashtanga style with an open mind and attitude towards yoga and movement practice. His classes are fun and engaging for anyone at any level of experience.
